Travel on Outer Ring road

Travel on the new Outer Ring Road is very exciting to the riders on the way between Gachibowli and Shamshabad. With the opening of the 4 Lane Outer Ring Road on Friday evening, the vehicle owners have started their ride on this road and feel very Happy for the journey between Gachibowli and Shamshabad which took just half an hour to travel. The vehicle owners expressed their joy by the speed they travelled and the time taken to travel between Gachibowli and Shamshabad. Though there are some ambiguity with the sign boards on the junctions at Nanakram Guda and Khajaguda, rest of the things made them feel much Happy especially by the Cab drivers.

Outer ring road from Gachibowli to Shamshabad
The restriction details are given below.
1) The Heavy vehicles and Medium Range Transport Vehicles like Lorries, Trippers, Concrete Mixers, Tractots, Milk Vans, Water Tankers, Eicher Vehicles and DCM Vans are Not allowed to move on this first phase of Outer Ring Road as it contains only Four Lane Road at present.
2)The Speed Limit should of 60 Kmph on Straight Roads and at Turnings it should not exceed 40 KMph.
3)No one should OVERTAKE any other vehicle moving on the same road, as every road leads to same route.
4)Parking or Halts on the outer Ring Road is Strictly restricted.

Daily Water Supply from Nov 1st, 2008
It was initially decided to supply Drinking water daily to only 1.7 Lakhs connections as a on a Pilot run on an eve of Andhra Pradesh Formation day. And if very thing goes in a feasible way then rest of the connections of about 3.5 Lakhs will be supply regularly on a day to day basis instead of alternate days from November 14th onwards. Presently, the water is been supplied for more than 2 hours in a alternate days. If this regular supply of water daily begins then the water is supplied for only an hour.
If anyone has any issues and concerns regarding the daily supply of Drinking water, they can raise their queries at the numbers 040- 6687 2200, 6687 2201 and 6687 2202. These queries will be answered by The Managing Director of Water Supply Board, Mr. Ashok Kumar. You can dial these numbers on every Third Saturday to give your valuable feedbacks and Suggestions in a “Phone to MD” programme conducted by The Managing Director.

Get ready for Air Show
The entry passes for the "Air Show" are available in the Begumpet Airport ticket counter. The issueing entry passes is started from Monday at the Ground floor(previously Domestic Airways floor) of the Begumpet Airport.
There are two kinds of Entry passes for the 'Air Show' - one for the Business personnel entry and other for all Civilians. For the first three days i.e from Oct 15-17, the entry is for the Business personnel only and the Entry ticket cost is of Rs.500 per person.
And on the last day i.e on Oct 18, all the civilians along with their Family and Chidren can have the experience of watching the 'Air Show'.The Entry pass for Civilians is of Rs.150 per person.

Air Show in Hyderabad
Hyderabad city is planning to add one more prestigious event along with its Historical importance. From October 15, 2008 onwards for 4 days, in the skies of Greater Hyderabad, all the famous Aircrafts and Planes will take off and entertain the people of twin cities. It is a prestigious event, where all the old vintage and current period aircrafts and planes from all over the world will fly in the ‘Air Show’ conducted in the Hyderabad. The necessary arrangements are taken to organize this Air show in the Begumpet Airport which is vacant from many days. It is expected that about 37 countries are participating in this Air Show.
This event is presenting the various changes that underwent in the evolution of aeronautical technology right from the old vintage planes to current A-380 Air bus. The planes from 37 countries are exhibiting their advancements in aeronautical technology in developing both the Air Buses and war crafts.
Highlights:
1)In this event, A-380 Air Bus from France will entertain all in the ‘Air Show’. This Air Bus is equal to the part of Football ground in dimension.
2)It is expected that A-380 will takes revolutions in the blue sky of city.
3)Recently launched A-319 airplane is going to grab the attention of the spectators.
4)The war crafts of Indian Airforce to name a few SuryaKiran, Sarang Helicopters will be the special attractions to entertain the spectators.
5)This event will host the famous planes like Boeing 777, Air Bus 340, Air Bus 400, Lier Jet, Global Express, Challenger, CRJ 900, Gulf Stream, Illusion, and Hacker Beachcraft.

Mecca Masjid

Mecca masjid is considered as the biggest masjid in the entire South India. Mecca masjid takes the position after Jama masjid and Gulbarga masjid as a biggest one in India. In the year 1614, in the authority and supervising of Daroge Mir Faizullah Baig and Choudhary Rangaiah, the late Sultan Mohamed Quli Kuthub Shah has started its construction. Some of the evidences prove that labour of about 8,000 people have worked in the construction of Masjid. After the demise of Quli Kuthub Shah, Abdul Kuthub Shah and Abul Hasan Thanisha and have under taken the responsibility of completing the construction of the Masjid. In the year 1687, in the dynasty of Aurangazeb, the construction was completed. So, it is estimated that the construction of Masjid has taken nearly 75 years with a total cost of about Rs. 8 Lakhs in those days in a 3 acres of spacious area.
The Masjid was built with a dimension of 225 feet in length, 180 feet in width and 75 feets in height. At a height of 35 feets, we can see Arches of about 15 feet each.
After the construction in 1687 by Aurangazeb of Moughal Dynasty, the masjid was named as “Baithullah Athik”. But when the brick from Holy Mecca Masjid was placed in the masjid, the people have started calling it as “Mecca Masjid”. Thereafter, as the time passed on, the masjid became popular with the name ‘Mecca Masjid’.

Sale counters of Fireworks need permission from City Police
On occasion of Deepavali, the sale of Fireworks and Crackers starts atleast one month before in many locations in twin cities. Considering the safety of people, the Police have announced that the Retail and Wholesale seller should take permission by proving that setting up of Sale counter in public places is no harm by ensuring all safety measures been taken.
The Police have announced that all the Retail and Wholesale seller should take permissions from them by October 4th and should assure to take all the safety measures. If anyone violates the below mentioned instructions suggested by Police, will have to face the consequences when setting up a Sales counter.
- It’s a mandatory that every Retail and Wholesale counters should take the permissions from Fire Department and Police Departments.
- The firework sellers should attach an Agreement letter from the House/Building owners along with GHMC permission letter.
- Spacious area and Plan (Blue print) of the shop needs to be attached.
- As per the instructions, only the specified amount of Fireworks needs to be stored.
- Stalls and storage rooms of Fireworks and Crackers placed in an open land or spacious area are encouraged.
- Shops and Stalls should keep all the Fire exhausts, sand and water at easily accessible places.
- Use of Child Labor is strictly prohibited in these Stalls.
- If any shop or stall does not follow properly or violates these instructions will be liable to cancellation of their permission and also attract the Legal case against them.

Be Cautious and Be Happy.
While raining, being cautious and taking the necessary safety measures when dealing with the serial lights and decorations at the Ganesh Utsav mandapam(stages) will help us all in celebrating the festival season with delight.
As we all are aware that both festival seasons of Ganesh Utsav and Ramzan came in the same period. We wish these auspicious periods of celebration and worships should proceed with Happiness and prosperous allowing everyone to share their joy with others.
But due to rains, all the serial lights or decorations at the Ganesh mandapam and Masjids need to be arranged and maintained with utmost keen observance. Official Authorities and Experts warn people to have an early precautions and safety measures that avoid any accidents or miserable incidents caused due to short circuits.
- All the Masjids and Ganesh mandapas needs to arranged with a switch boards and Fuse cut-out boards with necessary measures. If they are not arranged earlier please see that those are arranged immediately to avoid circuit breakouts.
- Use branded and properly insulated wires, and try to avoid the wires that are insulated with sticker tapes or has more breaks in the circuit.
- Use PVC pipes for wiring and contact the right person or electrician to work on these wire circuits.
- For every circuit, use the Fuse that can with stand the capacity of the electrical circuits.
- Use a proper control switch for every Halogen Bulb.
- All the decorations and wire circuits should be placed atleast 6 feet above the ground level.
- At every main switch, see that you provide a Rubber mat and all Fire exhausts handy.
- If required see that the Electrician is available at the locations who can come in a shorter time span when needed.
