Deccan Festival

Deccan Festival is celebrated in Hyderabad every year on 25th February. This five-day long festival reflects the culture of the Deccan and highlights Hyderabad's arts, crafts, culture and the popular Nawabi cuisine.
This festival brings the choicest talent from the field of Music, Song, Dance and Theatre. Ghazals, Mushairas, Qawwalis, (poetry sessions), Classical dances and Music which are typical of the city. The Festival reflects the love the Hyderabad always had for art and Literature. The Deccan Festival essentially mirrors the glorious Qutub Shahi epoch. Various renowned singers and dancers are invited for performances and this must not to miss for every person who visits Hyderabad. Deccan Festival is celebrated by Andhra Pradesh tourism.
